It's been three days since Jeremiah, Priscilla and I have been on antibiotics. We are all finally starting to feel better. Sickness is sure a pain. It gets in the way of getting things done. Oh well!
In spite of all that we had our Ladies Retreat this week end.
The theme of our retreat was Encouraging One Another. Let me just say Wow!
God met me there in an amazing way. He showed me that it takes great discipline to know the difference between serving Him to be perfect and being perfected while serving Him. The first brings pride in what I can do. The latter is much more humbling, yet much more fulfulling.

The retreat sounds like it was really good, and the lesson you are learning about being perfected while serving is a lifelong one, I am convinced.
I'm glad you are all on the mend from being sick. That's no fun at all.
