Chores, Chores, Chores.

I have decided I need to be more consistent with my house cleaning routines. What this means for my family is they need to be more active in helping me out. I can not seem to get all the way around by myself.

Here Priscilla is making an effort to mop the diningroom floor before we get started with devotions and homeschooling.
This is a pic of Jeremiah waiting for his turn with the mop. He'll get to mop the kitchen area.

My thought is, if we can get a small chunk out of the way before we start the day, things will actually get done.

Wish me luck!

Good job! Looks like the kids are having fun...

I had to do chores for as long as I can remember - my mom had a chore chart that hung in the hall. Our jobs rotated every week, so we all learned how to do everything sooner or later. If we didn't like a particular chore, we knew it would change after a week, so it was bearable.

Good luck, let me know how it goes! :)

Monique that is a great idea! Remember when we were little? We had them chores to do everyday. Hmmm I wonder what kind of affect did that really have on each of us. Thought to ponder. If nothing else though it will teach them responsibility for sure.
